Thousands of people started to gather on the embankment at around 10am, I arrived around 10:30 and the place was buzzing with people excited about sending a clear message to the powers that be.
It was fantastic to see so many activists gather and the atmosphere was amazing. So many familiar faces from congress and other conferences. Lorna Gayle arrived and I think danced most of the way around the march.
We started marching around 12:15, we set off with the band playing and the London Region banner at the front of our section. I am sure we were the loadest with drums blasting and whistles and rattles. I would like to thank everyone for participating in this march and sending such a clear message. Below is a selection of the pictures I took at the event.
The event was very successful and around 100.000 people attended the marchs.
